The tens of thousands of towering, strong, and neatly arranged redwoods serve as your windbreaks and firewalls. You dwell under God’s protection and blessings. Just as the redwoods send their roots deep into the ground and intertwine with those of neighboring trees. The Christians of Del Norte, in their unity and love, build their families and communities upon the foundation of Christ’s truth and His living water of life. Thus, when California is shaken, you remain steadfast; when California experiences lack, you abound in abundance. Del Norte, because you possess the resilient and enduring life of the redwood trees, God has established you as the gateway of California. Faithful intercessors stand upon your walls, praying day and night for the return and revival of California. Vigilant watchmen stand upon the watchtower, sounding the trumpet to awaken hearts across the state until God’s salvation reaches all of California.
