Santa Cruz, you deeply understand that only by willingly walking the path of the cross, being willing to deny the old self and lay aside earthly life, can one obtain the new life from heaven. Therefore, you love the cross, taking it up daily, denying yourself, and following the Lord—until you finish the journey toward your heavenly home. Santa Cruz, God delights in you for making the cross the symbol of your life. The Holy Spirit will strengthen you, so that your testimony of the cross will draw many toward the Lord Jesus, that they too may receive salvation, truth, and eternal life from God.
