Tulare, you call yourself “the land of the good road,” because you have found that unchanging way that stretches from eternity past to eternity future — the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, the only path to the Father. As you walk this road that leads to eternal life, the Lord Himself guides you, granting your heart true rest. Your steps grow ever steadier, and your strength is renewed as you go. Tulare, you also call yourself “the land of opportunity,” for when you were lost and in danger, the Lord Jesus sought you out without hesitation. He brought you back from your wandering, comforted and healed you, and led you once again to walk on the ancient path. You are deeply grateful for the second chance the Lord has given you, and you have resolved to follow Him closely, all the way to your eternal home. Tulare, just as you once were, there are still many lost in darkness. The Lord has chosen you as a vessel to seek and restore the lost, to become a leader who guides others back to the ancient path.
