Declare the Destiny for Sierra County, the County of Spiritual Violence
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Matthew 11:12 NKJV)
Sierra, you have heard the words of the Lord Jesus: the gate that leads to eternal life is narrow, and the road is difficult—few find it. You have also heard Him say that only those with spiritual violence can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. You not only keep His words in your heart, but you also respond to His call through real actions. You begin by learning obedience in the small things of daily life, allowing the Holy Spirit to help you stand firm in times of trial, strengthening your spiritual muscles and building spiritual resilience, so that your life may mature and be empowered with the strength to break through Heaven’s gate. Sierra, you know well that growth in life doesn’t happen overnight, but is a journey of faithfully following Jesus, step by step, along the path of the cross. You choose not to turn back and not to give up, so that the Lord may draw you with cords of lovingkindness all the way to your eternal heavenly home. You are willing to be among the few of the few, to receive the eternal crown of life.
